Transition Program

At LAMB, we believe that God has great plans for every life He brings to us. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,” Jeremiah 29:11.

The Transition Program was formed with this future hope in mind. As children under our care began to reach the age of 18, we were confronted with a need to help them gain independence, greater maturity, and courage to step into the plans God has for their lives.

The Transition Program encourages each young adult to pursue God’s best and often includes university, trade school, or job/skill training. The program funds this education, provides safe housing and oversight, while gradually increasing responsibility and independence into their lives. In turn, each participating young adult is required to complete weekly service hours, whether by serving within LAMB or a local approved charitable effort.
