Child Sponsorship

The Child Sponsorship program is a way for you to support LAMB and build a relationship with a particular child. The program is threefold: financial, relational, and prayerful.

Prayer
We ask sponsors to commit to regular prayer covering for your child. It would be wonderful if you child was covered in regular prayer for protection, his/her relationship with Christ, and for his/ her formation in all aspects of life.

Financial
Sponsors are asked to prayerfully commit to a monthly amount! People choose to give financially at many different levels. The actual cost to care for each child is more that $900/month. This is an average since we have some children with extreme needs and others with no health or educational challenges. We have some families that commit to this full amount, but many do not have the means. We ask people to pray about what they can do and what the Lord is calling them to do. People give at every level. Every dollar is received with gratitude and thanksgiving! This regular monthly giving is the lifeblood of the ministry.
Relational
Our children love having sponsors. To them sponsors are known as Padrinos and Madrinas which are the Spanish words for God parents. The level of relationship also varies from those who send a card and small gift on occasion to those who visit annually with a tea. We also have the ability on occasion to send and receive video messages back and forth. The children LOVE receiving anything from sponsors. We do have guidelines to help soften the impact of some receiving and other not, which will be shared if the spirit leads you in this direction.
