Margaret Merritt, US Executive Director

Margaret became LAMB’s first stateside employee in 2008 and has brought an effective set of gifts and abilities with a huge heart for God and His world to the organization.  She is a native Charlestonian
with a Masters in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin. Margaret is married to Turner and they have two children, Miller, born in February, 2013, and Reston, born in January 2016. Margaret manages all aspects of LAMB stateside from ongoing communications with friends, donors, prayers partners, the Honduran leadership as well as mission team coordination, organizational and board development, financial leadership and more.

Grace Gehlken, Communications and Child Sponsorship Coordinator

GraceGrace first visited our ministries in Honduras in the seventh grade, where she fell in love with Nohelia, a child at our Children’s Home who was two years old at the time. She became involved with the Child Sponsorship program by making and selling earrings so that she could send $20 to support Nohelia every month. In 2019, she acted as the Lead Intern for our summer internship, where she lived at the Children’s Home and created close relationships with our children and staff.  Her passion for helping others to create relationships with our children combined with her gift for visual communication make Grace a perfect fit for our Communications and Child Sponsorship Coordinator.  She graduated from Wofford College with a Major in Spanish, double minor in business and sociology/anthropology as well as a concentration in Latin American and Caribbean studies. Grace knew her studies would be used to somehow serve those in Honduras, and we are so happy that God has had such a wonderful plan instore for her and our ministry since we first met her in middle school.

Sue Cuthbert, Director of Development

Suecuthbert CroppedSue joined LAMB in June 2021, answering the call as the organization’s first Director of Development. While new to LAMB as an employee, she is not new to the ministry. She and her family have been supportive of LAMB’s efforts since 2017 when they traveled with their home church to Honduras on their first mission trip. Her unique work experiences both in administration, as VP of Strategic Services for Roper St. Francis Healthcare, and in ministry, as Executive Director of Holy Cross Island School, combine perfectly with her passion for missions and energy for service in the Kingdom. Sue is responsible for raising the required resources to fulfill the Lord’s purposes and plans for LAMB by offering excellence in donor relations, discipleship opportunities, and communication management. She and her husband, DuBose, are both Charleston natives that met at the University of South Carolina, married in 1998 and are raising three children: James, Annie and Tommy. In her spare time, Sue enjoys running, reading, cooking and golf.

Nancy Egleston, Database Manager

Nhe HeadshotNancy joined LAMB in January of 2023 as Database Manager. Her eye for detail and organizational skills blesses the LAMB team each day! She received her Masters of Science and Math Education from the College of Charleston. She and her husband DuBose are both Charleston natives and they have three children: DuBose, Mills and Ellie. In her free time, Nancy enjoys boating, reading, and traveling.

Anne Horton, Partnership Coordinator

AnneAfter growing up hearing about LAMB her whole life, the Lord made a way for Anne to finally join a trip to Honduras her senior year of college. Throughout her undergraduate studies at Clemson University, Anne was a marketing major pursuing a career in sales, but during her time in Honduras, the January of her final semester, God flipped a switch in her, calling her to a life of ministry in pursuit of him alone. With hands wide open, she followed his lead, one step at a time, ultimately bringing her to be a missionary in Prague, Czech Republic, immediately after graduation. Working with high school and college students only affirmed this call on her heart for the Lord’s harvest, as she felt his constant presence carrying her “as a man carries his son” (Deuteronomy 1:31) every step of the way. Once she returned from Prague, she began seminary training for an MA in Theological Studies, and is so excited to use all that the Lord is teaching her as she follows him in this next step to help more and more organizations partner with our ministry at LAMB to experience the love of Christ.
